This is the lattice model of a protein attacking its substrate.  Yes, it does follow an anecdote ("Assume that a horse has a shape of a cube, 1 meter size and 1 kilogramm weight ..."), except it is serious. 

In the
Digital Technology Center , several computationally intensive projects are now under way involving lattice and other models of biopolymers.
