Mike's wonderful photography (the precollege days)

Central Connecticut State University Copernican Planetarium and Space Science Center. It's quite a mouthful, but that's where I worked when I was in High School. Well, worked is a relative term. It was an internship and we had a lot of fun outside of work. Here we have some of the strange Planetarium folks: on the left we have (clockwise from left) Raj (who has nothing to do with an international incident with Libya), Phil (studying for a Classics Ph.D. at Brown and owner of a beautiful illuminated copy of Blake), Ken (still in DC?), Marty (still lighting up CT for sure), Jill (me (former) bestest buddy), and Jeff (he does IR fringes), and on the right (left to right) Sue (went to Rice, but now?), Jill, Ken, and Sarah (wonder what her students would think of this photo?).

The sign says "Bouncer." The photo on the right (well, a better, non-scanned version) is one that I've always wanted to use for an album cover, but I don't have the permissions in writing. Oh well. Twas a sad evening.

At the planetarium, we worked for Craig. He's a great guy. Prolly saved all of Western Civilization a few times. Anyway, the shuttle and the hat work together in a way that is a mystical experience even a decade later.

Figured I throw my two favorite Rhode Island photos onto this page as well. Right after taking the second picture a very tall woman dressed as a flapper asked me for a gin and tonic. She was Italian.
