About My Work

I am working with Professor Paul Crowell on ferromagnetic thin-film spin dynamics. Specifically, I am exploring current-induced domain wall motion in nano-wires, whereby injection of electrical current can move a domain wall by the spin transfer torque. I am using time-resolved Kerr microscopy in order to image these nano-wires and determine characteristics of the motion.
