Part time middle school science teacher 12 hrs/wk

Minnesota teacher’s license preferred, but a community expert will also be considered
Salary Range: 9,000 - 15,000 a year, based on experience
Work Commitment: part time position (30%), 12 hours/week, times are somewhat flexible

Job Description: Southside Family Charter School is seeking a middle school science teacher to teach two mixed grade level middle school science courses. It is only 14 hours a week, but it is a great opportunity for someone to get experience teaching middle school science, for someone who can only work part-time, or for a retired teacher or community expert to supplement their income.

Job Duties Include:
A. Planning and Preparing for Learning
B. Class Management
C. Teaching and Effective Instruction
D. Monitoring and Assessment
E. Family Communications and Outreach
F. When applicable, supervision of assigned educational assistant.
