A fellowship started by former students of Professor Allen Goldman honoring his 40+ years of teaching and mentoring students. The fellowship will be awarded each year to a graduate student enrolled in the School of Physics and Astronomy working toward a graduate degree.

Xing wins 2017 Goldman Fellowship

Ruiqi Xing won the 2017 Professor Allen M. Goldman Fellowship. He is originally from China. He plans to use the fellowship to support himself during his summer research. Xing's focus is on theoretical condensed matter physics, especially in strongly correlated electronic systems such as high-temperature superconductors.

Marshall wins 2016 Goldman Fellowship

Ryan Marshall won the 2016 Allen M. Goldman Fellowship.

Te Yu Chen

2011 Te Yu Chen

Te Yu Chen won the 2011 Allen M. Goldman Fellowship. He is originally from Taiwan. His research adviser is Prof. Paul Crowell in experimental condensed matter physics (Spin dynamics in ferromagnets).
He plans to use the scholarship for dissertation research during the summer.
