Jennifer L.B. Anderson (B.S. Geophysics, Astrophysics and Physics 1998)

After graduating from Minnesota in 1998, I went on to receive my M.S. and later my Ph.D. in Geological Sciences from Brown University. I am currently a Professor of Geoscience at Winona State University, in Winona, MN.

I am currently a tenured and full professor at WSU, where I am active in experimental impact cratering research with a colleague at NASA Johnson Space Center. I also work closely with K-12 education majors at WSU.

Favorite Memories: I was very active in the Society of Physics Students; Dr. Hans Courant at Halloween in an Einstein Mask; Touring the physics experiments at Soudan Mine; working in Dr. Humphrey's APS lab!

Favorite Professors: Dr. Ellis, Dr. Courant, Dr. Broadhurst, Dr. Dickey, Dr. Gehrz, Dr. Halley (reluctantly, I learned)

Dr. Bob Pepin - one of my first planetary mentors!

Dr. Rudnick - who first let me teach undergrads!
